Quantum Time-Accounting

Features:

Multi User with unlimited seats. Just setup each user to access the QT-A folder installed on your network's server. They only need to bring up the program, enter their number, press the In/Out button.

Real Time Updating. Time entries are recorded to the time file. A supervisor or administrator can access an employee's file and see an up to date indication of activity. When the week closes, time entries are placed into a temporary file. Once you have processed the previous week's entries, the time file is automatically updated with the temporary entries.
Employees may view their own current time cards. Your employees can, without making a time entry, view the current entries on their time record. This helps build confidence in the systems use.

Supervisors can administer the time entries of their employees. By adding, deleting or modifying these entries, the burden on the payroll department is relieved. Supervisors can approve overtime, add vacation, illness or other leave hours, compensate for missing or forgotten entries and verify attendance. Recalculations happen at the click of the mouse so those supervisors can see if what they do has the desired result.

Total security. Only people who have a need to know certain segments or employees of the system can have access. You may define these parameters through the built-in security function.

User modifiable reports. All the standard reports in the system can be changed if data placement or content is unacceptable.

Unlimited history of time entries. The history file can keep time card images for as long as you desire and have disk space for. Date, employee or group driven, this is a true record of actual activity.

One button to push. Employees using the time entry need not concern themselves with the sequence of the entries. QT-A will figure out which was IN or OUT.

Weekly time worked hour's file created. By defining your rounding rules, a payroll suitable file can be created. Hours can be recorded daily or consolidated weekly by type (Regular, Overtime, Sick etc.).

The Bridge data transfer utility. This extra cost system, allows employees to be maintained in QT-A with your payroll or human resource systems. It also can update your payroll with the information in QT-A (hours worked, leave taken etc.). Your HR attendance module can be updated as well.

Features:

Create application specific interfaces to move data to other applications. With the unlimited version up to 999 interfaces may be created. The limited version allows for 4 and is designed to be used with pre packaged application sets. For example: The System, allows employees to be maintained in Quantum Time-Accounting with your payroll or human resource systems. It also can update your payroll with the information in Quantum Time-Accounting (hours worked, leave taken etc.). Your HR attendance module can be updated as well.

Transfer data to setup new applications. If you are installing different vendors software there is normally a complex conversion process. The Bridge simplifies this process by its ability to convert, translate, or functionalize each data item.
Keep common information in different applications consistent and current. Once set up, the interfaces can be run on a routine basis. This will eliminate virtually all duplication of entries for common data items.

Up to five source files from which to gather data to produce transfers to the target file. If compatible, these files can be used to add additional data and verify validation information.

Map up to 95 fields with the ability to convert, translate, or functionalize any of them. Each source data item field has space for a 255 character function or expression. A data item can be used and acted upon in more than one of the 95 fields. This feature gives The Bridge its comprehensive ability to manipulate data.

Batch run four(4) of these interfaces starting them at a specific time and date. This feature allows you to time start the running of the interfaces when the system is less busy. A complete log is kept to verify its completion.
